Caring for you in our home

Built by Family,
For Family.

Woodlands Lodge is a residential care home based in the village of Hoyland near Barnsley.

We’re a family-run home that aims to change the way people see residential care through compassion and expertise.

With wellness at the heart of everything we do, we aim to transform the lives of our residents through friendship, activity, expert care and tranquil surroundings.

Moving into a residential care home is a major life change and can be a stressful time. We understand the worries and stress that such a change can bring, which is why we’re here to support you and your family during this time.

Types of Care We Offer

Our Home

The home stands in its own grounds with mature trees and shrubs and has an enclosed courtyard for the use of residents and their visitors.

The home is conveniently situated within walking distance of all local amenities and on a main bus route. There is a large car park to the rear of the building for the use of visitors.

We are registered for 54 residents and have comfortable double and single rooms. We also have a number of lounges plus a large dining room for functions and to enable our residents to socialise as they wish.

Our Philosophy of Care.

All of our meals are cooked on the premises with careful thought to variety, nutrition and presentation. We use fresh and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
